Ardeşen Vocational School, Recep Tayyip Erdogan University, 2016-2017 academic year since the Department of Travel, Tourism and Entertainment Services, provides training at the level of associate. The department will award its first graduates in 2018-2019. Kaçkar Mountains National Park, which is one of the important tourism regions for domestic and foreign tourism, is reached from Ardeşen. One of the most important rivers for rafting sports in Turkey, Fırtına Deresi is also connected to the sea from the district center.

Graduates who successfully complete 30 days of internship training by fulfilling all the requirements of the program will be awarded "Associate Degree in Tourism and Travel Services"

In the higher education institutions, the recognition of the previous formal (formal) learner, transitions in the vertical, horizontal and in the university is determined by the Higher Education Council. An exemption exam is held at the beginning of each academic term for the computer and English courses. Students who think they provide the qualifications expected from these courses have the right to take the exams. Students who are successful in the examination are exempted from the relevant courses in the course schedule.

Successful completion of all of the courses available in the program (for a total of 120 ECTS) and having a weighted GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 is a necessary qualification for graduation.

In the field of tourism and travel services, practical and practical, our courses are given in the direction of current developments in the professional life of our students. Our students who have reinforced their theoretical knowledge with their internship work in the sector, take part in the travel business and develop themselves and reach good positions. Our department prefers high school and tourism, which aim to gain a profession of tourism, and high school graduates, who teach hotel management.

Graduated students can be employed in different positions in travel agencies, tour operators and other businesses operating in the field of tourism. Besides the private sector organizations, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism can take part in the central and provincial organizations. Graduates with foreign language and sufficient vocational knowledge are able to work abroad in the rapidly developing and globalizing sector.

Candidates who successfully complete Associate Degree education can study undergraduate programs in their own field or in related fields provided that they take valid grades from the vertical transfer examination.

40% of the midterm examinations and 60% of the semester examinations are taken.

Within the scope of school and departmental facilities, tour programs where tourism education practices are organized are organized. We also have computer labs where our students can learn computer training and travel agent package programs, librarians who have the opportunity to study and provide resources, food and drink available for our students, schoolchannels, indoor sports hall, outdoor sports areas, tennis court, wireless internet service, Presentation machines are available. After the training period given by the department, students also have the opportunity to take their exams (Sejour) of some automation programs.
