First Cycle Programmes (Bachelor's Degree)
FACULTY OF ENGINEERING - Energy Systems Engineering - Lisans
| General Description | |
HistoryAccepted 40 new students each year, the Department of Energy Systems Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at the University of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is one of fourteen section. Energy Systems Engineering education is given a contemporary section, with the exception of the period of preparatory training period is four years. With an adequate level of English to the first year students start their instruction directly to the department. As of 2012, there are 41 students in Section, 1 professors, 4 assistant professors, and 1 being instructed by a research assistant. Department of Energy Systems Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at the University of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, was founded in 2012. 41 in 2012 and the first students were accepted.
Qualification AwardedFulfilling all the requirements of the program and the successful completion of the internship, the 48-day business graduates "Post Graduate Diploma in Energy Systems Engineering" degree take.
Level of Qualification (Short Cycle , First Cycle , Second Cycle, Third Cycle)Specific Admission RequirementsStudent admission to the program, "Recep Tayyip Erdogan About the University" section in the "Admissions" are described in detail under the heading.
Specific Arrangements For Recognition Of Prior Learning (Formal, Non-Formal and Informal)Previous formal Turkish Higher Education institutions (formal) recognition of learning vertical, horizontal, and is determined by the Board of Higher Education of the university in the çeçişler "INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION PROGRAMS UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS AND SWITCHING, DOUBLE MAJOR, MINOR AND CREDIT TRANSFER BETWEEN ACTION ON BASIS OF INSTITUTIONS "Regulation is made under the. Outside of formal educational institutions in Turkey, certificate-based or experience-based non-formal (in-formal and non-formal) recognition process at an early stage of learning. For this reason, all the programs of the University of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the recognition of prior learning is not fully initialized. However, the computer programs, training plans, and English, an exemption exam for the courses are held at the beginning of each academic term. Are expected to take examinations in these courses, students have the right qualifications who provides.
Qualification Requirements and RegulationsWhich is available in the program (240 ECTS credits): Successfully complete all the courses and to have a GPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 required for graduation condition for qualification.
Profile of The ProgrammeThe program is designed to provide the fundamentals of modern energy systems engineering. The first year courses, to bring the same knowledge level of students with different levels of knowledge mainly in physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer, and includes basic engineering courses. Second, third, and fourth years compulsory courses offered, Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics and includes Fundamentals of Electronics. The second, third and fourth year students take courses in technical and social choice. These courses are a broad class of engineering students through expansion of energy systems is presented. 3 Students From the start to do an internship semester. Diploma Project undertaken in the fourth year, emphasis on the introduction to Research and Development and submitted as a thesis.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates With ExamplesEnergy Systems Engineering, Engineering activities, which is one of the oldest and most extensive mechanical engineering and electrical and electronics engineering is an engineering discipline that is based on recently has become necessary. Expertise in the field of energy to drive electric generators to create hydraulic turbines and steam power boilers, engines, turbines and pumps the design, manufacture and operation are concerned. Design the power plants, and will turn, economic combustion of fuels, conversion of heat energy to mechanical power, and this power is concerned with the use of optimum. Heating, ventilation and air conditioning field, energy systems engineers, houses, offices, commercial buildings and industrial facilities provide controlled temperature and humidity conditions. Keeping cold foods, cold storage and ice manufacturing plants and systems necessary to develop hardware.
Access to Further StudiesALES successful completion of undergraduate degree candidates to take note of the current level of English language skills and sufficient condition that they can study in their own fields or graduate programs in related fields.
Examination Regulations, Assessment and GradingStudents must attend classes, practices and examinations. Students' attendance is monitored by the instructor concerned. Almost all of the required and technical elective courses, students solve selected problems in writing are open or closed book exams. The ninth week of the semester midterm done. At least one for each semester exam (and quizzes) is made. Dates of the program will be announced by the Department in the first month of the semester. In addition to midterm and one final exam are scheduled for the course. Date and place of final exams will be announced in Section again. In case of a valid excuse for an excuse for students who can not take the exam because of the decision of the Board of Directors Faculty are given up examination. Mid-term exam (not raw) Mid-40%, based on the final exam is 60%. Relative evaluation system is evaluated on the raw notes relative evaluation system, and the student's grade is determined by the success or failure of the class. In addition to midterm and final exams, reports, homework, quizzes, seminars, presentations and educational activities, such as laboratory performance evaluation of the student's performance in the semester can be used. These activities are reflected in what way, and achievement scores are announced by the faculty member at the beginning of the semester. Midterm or final exam is determined by the faculty member does not require exams. In this case, the final grade assignments, reports, presentations, etc. are determined by taking into consideration. The status of students' achievement at the end of each term GPA and CGPA is calculated Semester Academic used. Academic Semester GPA, weighted grade average of the semester the student is enrolled. If CGPA of the student from the entrance to the university from a registered course plan of all the courses in the department or program, taking into account the weighted grade average is calculated from the end of the second semester. Weighted GPA, the course credits obtained by multiplying the sum of the weight coefficients equivalent of the letter grades, is calculated by dividing the total credit. Both Semester Academic Grade Point Average and credit courses and the student's CGPA, (AA) (FF) are determined by adding up the grades assessed. Value of at least 2.00 CGPA in any course the student (FF) or (FD) with a condition that is considered successful. CGPA less than 2.00 the student is unsuccessful. From the end of the second semester, students take classes for the upper terms, CGPA of at least 1.80 must be.
